REMARKS TO THIS TOUR

After a heavy winter season, Tioga Pass may remain closed through May and be closed in October again already. In this case, following would be the alternate route:

Day 4           Instead of Bishop, our overnight would take place in Bakersfield. The route would then be approximately an additional 60 miles.

Day 5           From Bakersfield, you will ride to Exeter on Highway 65 and then travel to Sequoia National Park. Passing Fresno, you will continue your trip to Oakhurst.

Day 6           Today, you will visit Yosemite National Park, before you ride westwards to San Francisco.

Please note that the tour guide drives the motorhome with the luggage. He does not ride with the group, but provides a detailed briefing every morning and does the pre-checkin for the group every evening. He is reachable by handy throughout the day, but is not physically with the group when on the road
