Border Reivers Tour

May Day holiday gives us the opportunity to take you to the "debatable lands". This no mans land on the borders of Scotland once home to thieves, cattle rustlers and kidnappers now offers the biker traffic free roads and beautiful countryside.

As this is a bank holiday we are offering a choice of either a 2 or 3 night stay  You will need to travel to our tour base on the Friday, we usually arrange a rendezvous in the afternoon  for anybody wishing to be guided to the hotel, otherwise you may make your own way. Your room should be available from 2 pm onwards. Departure is after breakfast Sunday or Monday depending on which tour you have chosen.

On Monday weather permitting we will be returning to Yorkshire via Alston the Northern Pennines and the Yorkshire dales. if this is on your way home you are welcome to join us. If you are travelling further a field and wish to stay overnight Monday , we can organise DBB at a Yorkshire Dales Inn.

Your guided tour commences 0930 Saturday morning returning to your hotel at approximately 1700. The tour route will be fully guided with one or more experienced guides.

 Led by our local guide you can relax and enjoy the views, safe in the knowledge that you are seeing the best scenery, the right places and enjoying some great biking roads. Many people are apprehensive about riding in a group, however all our guided tours are at an easy relaxed pace, with adequate time for Coffee breaks and photo opportunities. There will be frequent stops for refreshments, photo stops or just to stretch your legs. We will stop for approx 1 hour for a lunch break

The tour package includes a 4 -course Evening meal, en-suite accommodation and full Scottish breakfast. Leaving you only needing to budget for lunch, petrol and your drinks. This hotel is set in its own grounds overlooking the Solway Firth and has leisure facilities including  swimming pool, sauna and steam room so don't forget your swimsuit

3 Nights Dinner, B&B + Sat/Sun tour =£175
Single Supplement  add £12 per night
deposit £25 per person

Tour prices are per person, based on two sharing and are inclusive of the following:
En-suite accommodation with colour TV, tea and coffee making facilities.
4 course Evening Meal.  (Vegetarian option available)
Full regional Breakfast.
Services of experienced tour guide.
Guided tour Saturday and Sunday, optional return via Yorkshire on Monday.
Full use of hotels leisure facilities.

** The amount of single rooms available is limited however if you are willing to share there is a good chance we can get you on the tour, and save you money.
