Itinerary: Quepos Tour #1 |
Day 1 - Sunday Arrival at Juan Santamaria International Airport in San Jose, Costa Rica. You will be picked up by a member of the MotoAdventures staff and will be transferred to the Hotel Marriott Courtyard, located in Escazu. Depending on your time of arrival, you can take an opportunity to visit the city as there is a direct shuttle from the hotel to downtown every 30 minutes. Good hydration is recommended this first day in preparation for your ![]() Ride from Escazu to Jaco beach (Pacific Coast). This day includes a very mountainous ride, forest with trails that includes many river crossings, trails that go uphill, and downhill, many have high berms in the corners making them a unique type of trail. We will have lunch in the town of Santa Marta and from there we take the airplane trail (above the clouds). The Airplane Trail will take us to Carara National Park where we will ride through rainforest trails that naturally form a motocross track that runs for approximately 20 miles, leaving us close to the Best Western Hotel at Jaco Beach. Day 3 - Tuesday Depart Jaco Beach for beautiful Quepos on the Pacific Ocean. MotoAdventures uses various routes through the coastal jungles of Costa Rica to reach Quepos from Jaco. The ride includes jungle and river crossings and mountainous areas. We'll stay overnight in Quepos on the beach. ![]() Free beach day in Quepos to enjoy the local activities, the ocean, the pool or just watch the bikinis on the beach. Day 5 - Thursday Return to Jaco Beach using a completely different route riding north through the jungle. Overnight at Jaco Beach at the same resort. Day 6 - Friday Ride from Jaco Beach to San Jose, taking a different route than the one used to arrive at Jaco. We first ride a portion of the classic two day enduro trails that starts our climb towards San Jose, again through some rain forests trails that have many river and stream crossings, taking us to the town of Puriscal for lunch. From Puriscal, we take the Skyline Trail to Colon City (very scenic). We finish our ride by climbing the trails of Colon City towards San Jose using many trails with berms on the way up making a fast single trail climb a lot of fun and one of the favorite trails of ![]() Free day in San Jose, good day to take one of the many tours available, the most recommended and almost a must is white water rafting, a very good way to finish an exciting vacation, there also is the canopy tour, Aerial Rain Forest Tram, Arenal Lake and Volcano, coffee tour, Poas volcano tour and many more. If you wish we will transport you and your gear from the Hotel to the airport for your return home. |
Pricing |
Our standard tour includes rental of a
2003 or 2004 Honda XR400R for five days, all fuel, six nights of lodging
(Sunday through Friday) and all meals for five days (Monday through
Friday). The total price of this package is $2,395.00 in US funds and is
based upon double occupancy arrangements.
Flights are not included in the pricing, we can assit you with flights to coincide with the tour start dates, or you are free to make your own travel arrangements to and from Costa Rica. You will need to provide your own airfare and meals on your day of arrival (Sunday) and your day of departure (Saturday). |

Motorcycle Damage Insurance |
We requires that our guests obtain motorcycle
damage insurance prior to starting our tours. The new 2003 and 2004 Honda
XR400R motorcycles represent a significant investment by the operator to
provide you - our customer - with the finest offroad motorcycling
experience possible. This motorcycle damage insurance is only for major
damage to our motorcycles and not for the normal wear and tear and
scratches associated with offroad riding and resulting from minor crashes.
