Extremadura, sparse, wild and full of bizarre beauty. An "off the beaten track" region in the heart of Spain. Extremadura - means typical traditional delicacies, almost untouched nature and valuable cultural treasures. Fantastic cities and palaces built by the gods, the Romans and the Arabs were witness to the extensive past of this early Spanish land.

We begin on the Costa del Sol. On our trip in the Extremadura we cross the most beautiful regions of Andelusia, taking a little time to get to know, and learn about this wonderful countryside and its unique culture. Our trip takes us through magnificent mountain scenery, over Ronda on the Atlantic (Costa de la Luz), to Sevilla, the capital city of Andalusia. Thereafter there is only one thing - Extremadura. An impressive landscape, sparsely populated, with a wide variety of animal species awaits us.

In the cities Zafra, Merida, Caceres, Trujillo, Plasencia, Jarandilla de la Vera and Guadalupe We will overnight in unique historical Paradores, castles and palaces in which Spanish history was written.
