Austria & Black Forest Tour

Join us on this exciting trip to the Austrian Tyrol and the Black Forest in Germany. 

After meeting in Dover and an early morning crossing to Calais we ride towards our first overnight destination in Lorraine. The next morning we continue our journey into the Black Forest, one of the most attractive destinations for motorcycling in Europe. 

For the next two nights we base ourselves in the Southern region of the Black Forest in one of our biker-friendly hotels with an excellent restaurant and a well stocked wine cellar. 


From here we can explore the lakes Titisee and Schluchsee, take a ride to the highest mountain in the Black Forest - Feldberg, or visit the historic town of Freiburg. Next, we cross in to Austria where we stay for five nights. 

 

This four star hotel (with bike-garaging) is run by a husband and wife team who are also keen bikers themselves. From here we have the opportunity to ride in to Switzerland or Italy if we fancy it. The local rides are organised and guided by our host and include the Stelvio pass, Piller pass, Ressia pass, and Weissseespitze Glacier. Those who prefer to park their bike and rest for a day or two can enjoy the hotel’s facilities that include a spa, massage, a wine tasting cellar, an outdoor beer garden and an excellent restaurant. 

On the return leg of our journey we ride through the Black Forest following the famous B500 to its northern end where we stay in another biker-friendly hotel. A day off can be used to visit the Roman spa town of Baden-Baden.
